Simandou project citizen reports - 3rd quarter 2024

We are sharing here the work published by Action Mines Guinée, as part of the citizen monitoring of the impacts of the Simandou project.

At the beginning of July 2024, the Citizen Monitoring Committees released their third quarterly reports, covering the areas of Mamou, Kindia, Forécariah, and Kérouané.

These reports provide updates on:

• Documented impacts on communities,

• Progress on compensation,

• Ongoing negotiations with companies and stakeholders.
